Grading:

There will be a homework assignment approximately once per week. Assignments will vary from pencil and paper analytical exercises to computer simulations. I encourage you to work together on homework assignments when necessary but each student must hand their own assignment.

Homework will be due at the beginning of class one week from the date of assignment unless otherwise noted.

There will be two exams, a Midterm and a Final. Both exams will be take home exams comprised of problems similar to homework assignments and also essay questions. The written part of the Final will be due on the date that the University scheduled for the regular exam in AEcl 588. There will be an oral part of the Final that will be arranged with each student.
