I am an ecosystem ecologist interested in carbon cycling and plant productivity, biogeochemistry, global change issues, tropical forests, and ecosystem modeling. My research focuses on quantitatively determining the effects of human, biological, and physical factors on material cycles in terrestrial ecosystems.
