My research is concerned with various aspects of the fungi,
involving plant parasitic fungi, mycorrhizal associates, and
saprobes. The relationships of fungi with other organisms,
particularly those between plant parasitic species and their hosts
are a basic interest. Also, the composition of the fungus community
in particular habitats, and attempts to interpret and understand
fungus distribution are a challenge for the mycology group. At the
present, we are working intensively with plant parasitic fungi of
tall grass prairies.
