Keiser selected 2017 NatureNet Science Fellow

Post-doctoral candidate, Ashley Keiser, as been selected as a 2017 NatureNet Science Fellow. As a fellow for the University of Minnesota, she will work in the U.S. Corn Belt to produce novel metrics for soil management that are needed to reduce nitrogen losses to waterways and the atmosphere. Her research will apply isotopic techniques to improve our understanding of the biogeochemical and microbial factors driving nitrogen transformations across a range of soil types and soil organic matter contents.
