Currently, I am a graduate student in the Debinski lab at Iowa State University working to earn a master's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.  My research is focused on native bee communities found on both remnant and restored tallgrass prairie sites.  I also work with The Nature Conservancy at Dunn Ranch Prairie located in northwest Missouri.  In my role as Conservation Coordinator, I have been involved with the restoration and conservation of tallgrass prairie and hope to continue this work in a greater capacity once I obtain my graduate degree.
