Moody awarded USDA NIFA postdoctoral fellowship

April 27, 2018

Dr. Eric Moody was awarded the funding via the United States Department of Agriculture's Agriculture and Food Research Initiative - Food Agriculture, Natural Resources and Human Sciences Education and Literacy Initiative

The program focuses on developing the next generation of research education and extension professionals in the food and agriculture sciences. Moody's research will investigate how successful lake restoration activities are at reducing harmful algal blooms in Iowa lakes, with a focus on understanding how lags due to buildups of nutrients in the soil and evolved differences in grazing zooplankton may cause restorations to be unsuccessful in the short term.
