Elena works for the Iowa State EEOB Department and the Army Corps of Engineers conducting water sample collection and analysis for the Des Moines River, Saylorville Reservoir, and Red Rock Reservoir. Previously Elena worked for the Wilkinson Limnology Laboratory at ISU as a field technician and biology lab technician. She graduated from Iowa State with a bachelors in both Animal Ecology and Environmental Science.
