Wright receives NSF postdoctoral research fellowship

Dr. April Wright was recently awarded a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in biology. She will be working with Dr. Tracy Heath of Iowa State University and Dr. Corrie Moreu from the Field Museum on the project, entitled "'Estimating a Time-Scaled Phylogenetic Tree of Ants from Combined Molecular-Morphological Data."

The Directorate for Biological Science (BIO) awards Postdoctoral Research Fellowships to recent recipients of the doctoral degree for research and training in selected areas supported by BIO.  The fellowships encourage independence as an early stage fo the research career.
